  1. Purpose

This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring the safety of our users while using our online services, in compliance with the Online Safety Act 2021 (UK). We aim to prevent harm, protect freedom of expression, and promote responsible online behaviour.

This networking platform is an online community for those who are sexual empaths and who appreciate the beauty of sensual massage, giving and receiving erotic touch and meaningful intimacy with a relationship or with intimate friends.  This is a community of people who understand that foreplay isn’t just about initiating sex; it’s about exploration, anticipation, and shared pleasure—a journey that heightens emotional and physical connection, making every encounter more fulfilling.

The content of our platform, and our membership services, are therefore only for adults.

  1. Scope

This policy applies to all users of the Intimacy Matters web site, including employees, contractors, and third-party partners who manage or moderate content.

  1. Responsibilities

We designate our business owner as our Safety Officer, responsible for overseeing compliance with the Online Safety Act, also responsible for reviewing flagged content and enforcing community standards.

All Users are expected to follow our terms of service and report harmful or illegal content.

We identify and mitigate potential online harms, especially those affecting children and vulnerable users. This includes:

  • The likelihood of exposure to illegal content (e.g., terrorism, child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA), hate speech).
  • The risks posed by features such as messaging, live streaming, and recommendation algorithms.

Our site is not suitable for under 18’s and we do not allow children to use the site or join as members.

  • We apply this policy and related principles for users to ensure children to not have access to our website and services.
  • Age assurance measures (age certification and photo ID requirements) are used to restrict access to adult or harmful content.

We prohibit the posting, sharing, or promotion of:

  • Child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) content

We use a combination of automated tools and human moderation to detect and remove harmful content. Users can report content to colin@intimacymatters.co.uk

We aim to respond to urgent reports within 24 hours.

We are committed to upholding freedom of expression and journalistic integrity. Content decisions will consider context and public interest.
