Join Us for a Summer Sensual Connect Social at The Pear Tree Café
Hosted by myself, Colin from Intimacy Matters, and my partner Clare, this relaxed summer gathering follows the success of our three Sensual Connect Socials at The KNOX Bar in Chelsea. This time, we’re taking things outdoors and embracing the summer vibes in the beautiful surroundings of Battersea Park.
The Venue – Pear Tree Café
Set beside the lake, The Pear Tree Café is a well-loved gem in the park. It has a fully stocked outdoor bar, a great menu for food, and on Wednesday evenings, they treat guests to live jazz – the perfect background for mingling, chatting and flirting with like-minded souls.
A More Casual Vibe
We’re keeping this one informal. There’s no reserved area, but the outdoor seating is generous, with picnic benches dotted around the pond. If it’s particularly busy when we arrive at 6.30pm, Clare and I may set up on the grass just to the left of the café – so feel free to bring a picnic blanket or something comfy to sit on, just in case.
If the weather misbehaves, there’s a spacious indoor area with full facilities, so we’ll stay cosy whatever happens.

A Few Practical Bits
Food and drink are available to buy at the café. If you bring your own nibbles or bubbles, please enjoy them on the grass rather than in the café’s bench area.
Who’s It For?
If you’ve ever been a client of Intimacy Matters, attended one of my classes or events, volunteered on a training, or if you’re part of Sensual Connect – or simply identify as a sex-positive sensualist looking to expand your circle – this evening is for you.
Expect to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new, open-minded people. Our socials usually attract between 30 and 50 friendly folk, so do bring a guest or two if you like.
Timings
The official social winds down around 9.00pm, but you’re very welcome to stay on and enjoy the bar with your new friends until closing at 10pm
We’re looking forward to seeing you there – relaxed, sun-kissed (hopefully!), and surrounded by good company.
